The Newark Bronze Shields would like to help relieve some of the financial burdens by awarding ten $1000 scholarships to Newark Public School high school seniors. The scholarship awards are funded through charitable contributions from Newark police officers and the Newark community. The organization hosted its annual Scholarship Dinner Dance in March 2018 to help raise monies towards funding these scholarships and is proud to present ten deserving students this opportunity.
