Learn more about Newark Bronze Shields Scholarship

This is the time of year when high school seniors are making critical decisions about their future. In addition to completing that final year of high school, the next chapter of life is a major area of focus. This next chapter often includes preparing for college and figuring out how to pay for the associated expenses. The Newark Bronze Shields would like to help relieve some of the financial burdens by awarding ten $1,000 scholarships to Newark High School Seniors.

The scholarship awards are funded through charitable contributions from Newark Police Officers and the Newark community. The organization hosted its annual Scholarship Dinner Dance in March 2019 to help raise monies towards funding these scholarships and is proud to present ten deserving students this opportunity.

We are focused on improving the quality of life within the community by engaging in youth programs, fundraisers to benefit the less fortunate, and providing scholarships for college-bound students.
